The Easton Station Wildlife Rehab Unit came into being in March of 2011. After a number of years as a wildlife management specialist, Bill was approached by the Ministry of Natural Resources to see if he would start a unit in Grey Bruce. Over the last several years, Bill has been taking in wounded and orphaned animals from the public by word of mouth, so it is a natural progression to the present rehab location. As a NON-PROFIT unit, Bill has to depend on donations from clients and sources to help pay the costs of building additional enclosures, and providing the necessities the various protocols direct, to ensure a safe and healthy rehab environment. Easton Station Wildlife Rehab Unit has now attained the provincial status as a charitable foundation and is searching for Sponsors to invest in our local wildlifes futures.
